National Council Nomination Form

Have your say in how sled dog sports are governed in Australia. We’re seeking passionate dog lovers to join the ASSA National Council for 2026. Available positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, State Representatives for ACT, NSW, SA, VIC, WA QLD, and TAS.

Joining the committee is a great way to shape the future of our sport, collaborate on policy, events and development, and connect with the sled dog community nationwide. ASSA is a member of the International Federation of Sleddog Sports (IFSS). Membership includes automatic insurance coverage, discounted race entry fees, and eligibility for the National Point Score.

Key dates:

• Nominations close: 5:00pm AEDST Friday 17th October 2025
• Nominees advised of outcome: ASSA AGM 4:00pm AEDST Saturday 01 November 2025

Please note the following:

• All nominees must sign this nomination form and be ASSA members
• Existing National Council members can nominate for another term in office
• You can hold more than one position except in the case of President and Vice
  President
• Term in office is one year
